How can I block a member from contacting me?
If a user his giving you a hard time and is making you unhappy you can go to that users profile page and in the contact panel click "Block User". The user will then not be able to send you messages or leave you comments. If you want to block a user in the chatroom you would have to click that users name in the chatroom then click block.
How can I unblock a member I previously Blocked?
To unblock a member you can hover your mouse over "My Account" then click on "Blocked Members". There you can change the settings to unblock a blocked user.
How do I completely disable instant messages?
In order to disable instant messages you would have to click on "Status" on the footerbar on the bottom of the page and then click disable IM. Alternately you can do the opposite to enable IM's.
Can I approve comments before they show on my profile page, pictures and/or blogs?
Yes, to turn on comment approval simply hover over "My Account", then in the drop down menu hover over "Settings" and finally click on "Account Settings". Scroll down until you see "Comment Approval:" and set it to "on". Once set to on, all comments left on your page will require your approval before being displayed publicly.
How can I change my username?
To change your username you simply hover over the "My Account" tab in the main menu bar on the top of the page, then hover over "Settings" then click change username. You may only change your username once every 30 days.
How do I update or add things to my profile?
Hover over "My Account" in the main menu. Then in the dorp down menu hover over "Settings" then click on "Profile Settings". From there you can edit many things on your profile.
How do I upload pictures to My Gallery?
Hoever over "My Account" in the main menu. Now, in the drop down menu click "Submit Items". From there you can upload pictures, write a story, create a poll, create a quiz or upload a video.
What is the "My Account" link for on the menu?
Clicking on "My Account" will take you to your control panel for your account. Here you can see a page with a list of your friends, a bulletin with bulletins your friends have posted, a brief summary of your account information and your message center.
How do I change my password, email address, or location?
Click on "my account" then "my settings" then "account settings".

How do I access my account if I forgotten or lost my password?
On the main login page, click the forgotten password link. You will need to have access to the email account that you made the account with to receive the password that the system generates for you. Staff cannot help you with as we do not have access to any ones password.
How do I change the design or look of my profile page?
Hover your mouse over "My Account". In the drop down menu, hover your mouse over "Settings" Then click on "Pimp My Profile". Once there you can change the color settings and upload a background picture and set it how you'd like fot it to show on your page. Additionally you can hover your mouse over "My Account", then in the drop down menu hover your mouse over "Settings". In the side menu click on "Profile Theme". There you can select a preset theme for your profile.
What is the "My Items" tab for in my account?
If you click on "My Items" you will then be able to view, delete or edit any of the items you have submitted to the site such as photos, videos, polls and quizzes.
How can I cancel my account?
To cancel your account you need to access your account settings by hovering over "My Account" in the main menu bar, then hover over "Settings" then click on "Account Settings". You willk notice a link in the top right corner directly below where it reads "ACCOUNT SETTINGS" that says "[ Cancel Account ]". Click that. Then follow the onscreen instructions.
How do I upload my photos to the gallery?
You may upload your photos either by accessing the gallery from the menu bar on the site or via your account page. From the site hover your mouse over "Media" and in the drop down, hover your mouse over on "Gallery". Then, in the side menu click on Upload Images. In your "My Account" page, you can click on "Upload" link located in the "Profile Image" box on the top right corner of the page.
What format can my picture be in and what size does it allow?
We allow you to upload photos in the format jpg, gif or png. Image size should not matter because dizzspace will automatically resize any image which is too large.
When I upload my photo, it is asking me for "tags" What are tags?
Tags are keywords. They are common descriptions used to describe your photo. When someone searches the site using the tags you entered, they will find your picture. For example if you uploaded a photo of your family dog, you might want to use the following tags: dog animals pets etc. Make sure to enter tags with spaces between the words.
Where does my photo appear after I upload it?
When you upload your photo, you have the choice on who gets to view your picture. You may choose "everyone" this way it is visible in the site gallery for all to see. You may choose "friends" this way it appears only in your profile page gallery and only your friends may see it. You may choose for "nobody" to view your photo and this way it is only viewable to you and does not appear in the site gallery and it is not viewable by anyone, even your friends.
What is a group?
A group is a collection of people all interested in the same topic that wish to get together to discuss like minded topics, share photos and meet new people interested in the same topic. Groups are a collective of people interested in the same thing.
How do I create a group?
Go to the groups section of the site by hovering over "Community" in the site menu. In the drop down click on "Groups". This will take you to the groups category page. Look at the different categories we have for groups first and decide what category your group best fits into. Then click on "create a group".

How do I change my profile picture?
Click on "My Account" in the main menu. Once in your account page, on the top left hand corner you will see your profile picture, just click the link under your picture that says "Change Profile Pic".

How do I arrange my friends?
In your "My Account" area click on the tab "Friends" Here you will be given the option on how many top friends you wish to display on your profile page. You can then drag and drop your friends from the list into the top spots. At any time you can remove friends from the top list by clicking on remove under their name. Delete friends at any time as well by clicking delete under their name.
What is the favorites tab for?
In your "My Account" area you can click on "Favorites" and view anything you have made "your favorites" on the site. When visiting a video, photo, song, or profile you can add them as your favorite.
If I deny or delete a friend request, does the person requesting know?
No. If you receive a friend request that you are not interested in, simply deny the request. The person who requested is never informed that you denied the request.
What is the "Report this Member" button for?
This is so members can alert the staff that there is a problem with something another member has posted, doing or has said. This makes a confidential report that only the Administrator sees and can access so complete confidentiality is maintained. The administrator does a complete investigation of the complaint. Please use this with caution because once a member is reported they are subject to being banned from the site.
Can everyone see my profile?
You decide who can see your profile. In your account settings you can choose to make your profile private by checking the box that says "only my friends may view my profile" If set to private, when someone visits your page, your profile will not display. The visitor will be given a message that your profile is set to private and the option to request a friendship with you. Once you accept a friend request, they will then be able to view your profile.
Will only my friends be able to post comments on my profile page?
In the main menu, hover over "My Account". In the drop down menu, hover over "Settings" then in the side menu click "Account Settings". In account settings you have the option to decide who can post comments on your profile page. By checking "only friends may post comments", it will enable that only your friends you have approved may post comments. Leave this box unchecked and anyone visiting your profile will be able to post a comment.
What are the stars for beside my profile picture?
On your profile page, beside your picture you will see a star(s) with a number beside them. This indicates how many points you have earned at the site.
How do I earn points?
You earn points for being active on the site. You will earn points every time you create or participate in a blog, bulletin, quiz and/or poll, upload a video, and/or post comments on the member's profiles. Even playing games in the "Arcade" section will get you user points. Be active and you get points!
I only want my friends to view my photos in "My Gallery" on my profile page. Can I do this?

How do I create a poll?
To create a poll hover over "Community" in the site menu. In the drop down click on "Polls", this will take you to the polls page. Then click on "create new poll" Now type in your question and four possible options to your poll and click submit. Your poll is now ready for all members to view. All recent polls are displayed at random on the homepage.
How can I see who has taken my poll and the results?
When viewing your poll, click on view results. This will show you who has taken your poll and the percent of answers to each question you provided.
How do I delete a poll I created?
In the polls section, click on "delete my polls". This will provide a list of all the polls you have created with a delete X beside each one. Clicking on the X will delete the poll. Once the poll has been deleted, it is gone and cannot be retrieved so make sure before deleting a poll.
How can I upload videos to the site?
In the main menu bar on the top of the page, hover your mouse over "Media". In the drop down menu, hover your mouse over "Videos". In the side menu click on "Add Video". Click on "[ Upload Video ] and follow the onscreen instructions.
How do I rate a video?
First choose a video to watch by clicking on the title of that video. Once there, you will see a rating with stars beside it. Click on the star according to how you wish to rate the video. Clicking on the first star is the lowest rating and clicking on the fifth star gives the highest rating.
What does "share" mean under the video?
Clicking on share under a video will display a box for you to type in a member's username. You then are sending the member this video to check out.
How can I upload Music to my Profile Page?
In the main menu bar on the top of the page, hover your mouse over "Media". In the drop down menu, hover your mouse over "Music". In the side menu click on "Submit My Music". Click on "[ Create Album ]" and follow the onscreen instructions to make an album where you can upload music. Once the Album has been created you can add music to it by clicking on "[ Upload Song ]". Any song you upload will automatically play on your profile page.
Can I add songs from someone elses profile to my page?
Yes you can. When visiting someone's page, you will notice the MP3 player on the top right side of their page. If you hover your mouse over the name of the song you want and click on the little black arrow pointing right that appears while hovering it will bring you to that songs main page which you can then click "Add To Profile" to add it to your profile. You can also do the same thing to remove the song from your profile as well.
Can I browse all music on Dizzspace at once?
Yes you can. Simply hover over "Media" in the main menu bar, and in the drop down click on "Music". This will bring you to the sites main music page where you can browse already added music and add songs you like to your profile page.
